September 2009

The start of September was extremely wet with heavy showers on all my days off. On the 13th, after what seemed like weeks on rain, the sky looked good for a nice moody sunset and head towards Cloch Lighthouse near Gourock. The sun was setting quickly and only made it as far as Port Glasgow, the river Clyde was like mill pond with stunning reflection of the sky.

On the 16th I went for a walk along the west highland way at Loch Lomond, the light was really poor and took only a few snaps. On the weather was still poor on the 17th and headed to a nearby woodland to photograph some of the fungi and colourful berries and bracken. The rest of the month was a bit of a wash out.
