July 2009

The summer outing continued with my local camera club with trips to Glasgow Necroplois, Anchor Mill and Loch Lomond. I also visited St Andrews and fife coast and attend two event Superbikes in the Square and the Glasgow River Festival.
May 2010

May was an extremely busy month, the only trip i managed was to Cloch Lighthouse and the timber pools at Port Glasgo.

During April I made a couple of visit to Paisley and Glen Moss nature reserve.

October 2009

During the month I spent a week back in Yorkshire, had a day trip to London and made several trip closer to home with visits to Loch Lomond, Paisley and the Dams to Darnley Country Park.
September 2009

The weather during septemer was very wet, or at least it was on my days off! This really limited my photographic opportunities, however it did make trips to Port Glasgow, Loch Lomond and my local woods to photography some of the fungi.
June 2009

During June I visited Whitelee wind farm, Duchal Castle, Dams to Darnley Country Park, Cloch Lighthouse and a portrait session. I also made four trips with my local camera club as part of their summer syllabus; we visited Glasgow Botanical Gardens, the Cloch Lighthouse, Victoria Park and the Falkirk Wheel.
May 2009

Two bank holidays and a 10 day break provided a great opportunity for photography was trip to several trips after work to Dams to Darnley Country Park, Finlaystone Country Estate and Glen Moss Nature Reserve. I also made visit to the wind farm at Dalry, Knockhill race track, sailed on the Oban to Barra ferry as well as taking a few snaps at a friend’s wedding.

With the sun setting later I was able to get out after work as well as on my day off. During April trips to Loch Lomond, Dams to Darnley Country Park, Finlaystone Country Estate, Glasgow Botanical Gardens, Paisley, Edinburgh, Duchal Castle, Knapp’s Loch and a day in Dublin
March 2009

March saw visit to the Isle of Bute, Duchal Castle, Glasgow Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh Zoo, Dams to Darnley Country Park and Portencross.
February 2009

February was a very cold and snowy month apart from a city break to Budapest I made visits to Ardmore Point and the Dams to Darnley Country Park.
Budapest 2009

In early February I spent 5 days in Budapest. During my time the weather was less than favourable for photography and bird watching with dense fog for much of the holiday. I discovered this beautiful city and visited an number of attractions including the Budapest Zoo and Memento Park
November 2008

November was a very wet month with limited opportunity for photography. I did attend the Glasgow Green firework display and made visit to the Dams to Darnley Country Park, Anchor Mill and Rouken Glen Park.
August 2008

August saw visit to Loch Lomond,SECC & Glasgow ARC, Knapp’s Loch and three visits to Duchal Castle before a heading south to Yorkshire to see my folk’s. While in Yorkshire I made trips to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Spurn Point National Nature Reserve and Hull.
July 2008

The long summer nights allowed visit slightly further away with two visits to Milarochy Bay, Loch Lomond, Troon Beach, Cloch Lighthouse, Pollok Park, Dalry windfarm and Ardossan beach. I attended the Glasgow River Festival which proved an excellent photographic opportunity.
June 2008

I visited Bowling Canal and the Glasgow Necropolis as part of my local camera clubs summer syllabus. During June I also visited Duchal Castle, Adrossan, Rouken Glen Park and the Dams to Darnley Country Park where I have just stated work as a countryside ranger.
May 2008

May was a very busy month for me leaving very little time for photography. However I did manage to two trips to Duchal Castle and a visit to Formakin Estate to photograph the bluebells, as well as my first attempt at portraiture photography.
April 2008

During April I participate in my camera club mini-photo marathon, visited the Ayrshire coast and made two visits to Knapp’s Loch before heading to Hull to visit my folks. This provided me with an opportunity to visit photograph Hull, the Humber Bridge and North Yorkshire Moors.
Mussel Inn Exhibition

Throughout April 2008 I showcased a small selection of my work at the Mussel Inn Gallery, 157 Hope Street, Glasgow, themed 'The Colour of Landscapes' the gallery images have a wide range of colours from the warm reds of a Clyde sunset to the cool misty blues of the Spanish Pyrennes.

March 2008

March was a very busy month for me as i was preparing for first exhibition in April. I visited Lochwinnoch, Portencross, Ardrossan and made two visit Knapp’s loch and Duchal Castle.
